As you can see we’re still buzzing from the Startup Grind Nairobi just recently co-organized with Servercore. What an amazing day, so many thought-provoking conversations, valuable contacts, and this vibe that just made the day special.
The panel was lively, the dialogue provocative, and the crowd? Simply unmatched. Thanks to all who came out and made this a success. You all shared so much enthusiasm, questions, and comments that the day was worth it.
A Special Thanks to Our Incredible Partners
We couldn’t have done this without our amazing partners. Thanks to Servercore for being such an awesome collaborator. The technical skills you brought to the table and continuous support helped make this an outstanding event for everyone involved.
We also would like to extend thanks to Anzavillage, Antler Global, Business Week Afrika, and Enuka Kenya for their support. Your contributions brought together a wide-ranging and engaged community of entrepreneurs, investors and innovators.
And the special shout out to Red Bull Kenya who kept us all in shape and motivated to get down to every session. You did indeed fuel the day!
Meet the Panelists Who Started It All!
Talks are the essence of any conference, and we were lucky enough to have a stellar group of panelists who brought their knowledge and encouraged us all.
- Ivan Romanko, CTO of Servercore, showed us a glimpse into the tech side of scaling a startup. His tip on how to establish robust, scalable infrastructure was something anyone working in the tech industry could benefit from.
- Yury Kapelko, COO of Servercore, threw light on the tactical part of building a company. His advice on streamlining and making things sustainable was essential to entrepreneurs scaling up.
- Timothy Maenda, Country Director & Venture Associate at Starthub Africa provided insights into venture capital that startups can use to seek funding and attract investors.
Special thanks to Victoria Kleinbort, Development Manager at Servercore, for graciously hosting the session. Her skill at making it easy to follow and having all the panelists’ contributions heard added to the thought-provoking quality of the conversation.
The Impact of Teamwork and Community
It was the group of people that made this event so special. It wasn’t the speakers alone, but it was the audience that brought energy, curiosity and new ideas. This space for exchange, reflection, and discussion was the essence of what made the event special.
The day’s conversations spoke to the power of community and partnership. Entrepreneurs, investors and executives gathered to discuss, speculate and think big. The energy was electric, and we’re excited to keep up the conversation started at this event.
Looking to the Future
And when I think back to all the amazing conversations and partnerships made at Startup Grind Nairobi, it seems like there’s a long way to go. The event not only motivated us but also paved the way for more such collaborations and developments in the future. The lessons – the lessons we learnt – will inspire for decades after the event.
What we’re hoping for is how the relationships built at this event will generate new avenues, collaborations and ventures that will continue to inform the future of entrepreneurship and innovation.
